It makes our days in First Grade so much more fun!

Oh...and did I mention that our class won the box tops award.  We got to keep this incredible trophy in our classroom for an entire month.

Looking back on this day...the only things the kids remember is that we read an entire Junie B. Jones book together and that our room smelled like stinky feet--I let them take their shoes off :) 

Our class also won a prize for our class Drug Free Poster...

Fantastic First Month!

The first few weeks of first grade have been fantastic! 

We have been learning about the four seasons.  We have been reading books, learning songs, and even making a graph of our favorite season.  Our Fourth Grade buddies visited our class for the first time to help us each make a season tree showing our favorite season!

Back to School Night and the School Carnival 

were a great success!
